Weekend Shopping Haul (What's New?)

Once again, I managed to somehow make it to a few stores today (even after my Friday Nordstrom Rack scores, which you can see here and here).  It was pouring for the better part of the day yesterday here in Orlando, so I ran some errands today and then ended up out and about, and obviously nabbed some amazing goodies, at even more amazing prices!

I randomly went to Plato's Closet (even though they literally *never* offer me anything - does anyone have any luck there??) So here are some things I scored while I was browsing:
White lace cropped top; Brand: Forever 21, $8
Brown high waisted shorts (they are less chocolate brown in person); Brand: Wet Seal, $10

Printed Dress; Brand: Cotton On, Price: $10
(You might be seeing this tomorrow on my Instagram #ootd)

Chanel Inspired Tank, $8

Found this at another random store I went to.
Chanel Inspired Tee, $7

Picked up these sandals on my trip to Walmart
Faded Glory Sandals, Walmart, $10
Have you had any luck at Plato's Closet (buy or selling)?  I have to say that sometimes they have some great items that still even have tags on them!

Your Bathroom Savior

Allow me to introduce you to your bathroom's new best friend, the Hot Iron Holster.  This bad boy is about to help your countertop plethora of curling irons, flat irons, blowdryers, and strangled cords, become one neat and organized beauty!

I've had my fair share of stepping on plugs, melting combs, and even burning my hand when reaching for my mascara, so when I heard about the Hot Iron Holster, I just knew I had to feature it!

The Hot Iron Holster® is a patented portable silicone holder for hot styling tools that clings to any smooth surface and is heat resistant to 500 degrees F.    The 100% silicone holster consists of a roomy pocket for holding styling tools, and a flap that grips to your countertop.  Together, they provide a GENIUS solution for managing your hot styling tools.  (It's been featured everywhere from The Today Show and local morning show beauty segments, to Lucky Magazine and beauty blogs across the country!)

The specially formulated silicone clings to any smooth, non-porous surface. As long as the holster is clean and dry, it will firmly grip the surface.

Check out how mine is currently stored:

You can purchase your own Hot Iron Holster for $29.95 on their website.  They come in White, Purple, Pink, and Black!

Have you tried it yet?  What did you think?

Kate Young for Target

The Kate Young for Target collection launched today, and there are definitely some pieces I have my eye on.  Being the budget shopper that I am, naturally, I am going to wait until the items go on sale at my local Target {as I did for the Prabal Gurung pieces}.

Here are the wearable pieces that I'm on the lookout for:
{black satin shorts}

{Neema Pump with Flame Detail}

{Black Jumpsuit}
{lace bodysuit}
I love the idea of this bodysuit because it's really versatile (it also comes in a sheer polka dot version).  You can wear some type of bralette underneath, and pair it with a skirt or shorts, but I love the idea of pairing it underneath another top or dress, so that you can really only see the sleeves and maybe the neck.  Take a look at how both patterns are styled for the Kate Young promotional banner on Target's website:
The polka dot version show on the right is definitely super sheer, and it appears like the model is not wearing anything underneath, but it definitely needs a layer under it.  I love how the lace version is being worn under the dress.  This can take a sleeveless or strapless dress into a more formal look, as well as a more Fall/Winter look.

Do you have your eye on any of the Kate Young for Target pieces?  Were you able to pick any of the pieces up yet?
