Bridal Shower Outfit Recap

Last weekend I attended a bridal shower for one of my closest friends.  As most bridal showers are, it was a daytime/brunch-esque type of shower.  I put together an outfit after nabbing this fabulous shirt that I found in JcPenney:

As soon as I spotted it in the store, I completely fell in love! (I didn't know it at the time, but as I searched their website for the link, I saw that this was one of People Stylewatch Editors' handpicked favorites!) It fit just like I wanted it to and was so chic looking and only $19.99 - plus I had a coupon for $10 off $45 so I managed to find another super cute top and some earrings to add up to $45, and managed to get my $10 discount.  I paired the top with high-waisted beige shorts that I had previously found at Macy's on clearance ($15.00) a couple of months ago, and ordered these bad boys by Michael Antonio from DSW.com once I realized that none of the wedges I had matched just right ;)

 

Only $19.99, plus I had a coupon code for free shipping, and another for $5 off that wasn't working, so I called customer service and I got 2-day shipping for free (which I needed, since I ordered them that Monday and the shower was Saturday - didn't want to take any chances), and the $5 off!  Can I just say that DSW has some of the most amazing customer service I have ever experienced!  I'm never sitting on hold, and they are always willing to help with discounts and promo codes to help get you what you need.

I topped off this look with some fun gold bangles and a gold ring from Forever 21, and my favorite MK Gold Chronograph watch that I live and die for.  This was a birthday present from almost 2 years ago (which I picked out), but Michael Kors watches are definitely great investments.  I wear this watch all the time and absolutely LOVE it!

The look was a hit and I managed to get the top, shorts, and shoes for great deals and will definitely be wearing these pieces again in different ways!
