  2. I had a gel manicure once before while visiting Atlanta, GA and I loved it. Unfortunately, no one in my town does them.

  3. I had a gel manicure while on vacation in Florida. Swimming everyday in the ocean and the pool and my nails still looked terrific 3 weeks later. What an amazing system!

  4. I recently tried a gel manicure at my local salon and it was awesome not to have my nail polish chip for several weeks! Also, like you said, it is really nice not to have to worry about smudging the nail polish right after the manicure. I would love an at home kit.

  5. I love painting my own nails but cannot seem to ever get them to completely dry before dinging them on something. I've tried IT ALL. Hair dryers, finishing oils/sprays, etc. I've long considered getting the nail dryer salon's have but I live in a NYC apartment and those things take up too much space. I like the size of the dryer in the vid... I've never had a gel manicure before, so I don't know if I'll like it as much as regular polish, but the video is definitely making me consider it!

  6. I've been a user of solar nails since 8th grade and I want to change to Loami since is much better!! I tried gel pedicure and I absolutely love it, there's not that many salons that do it so it will be terific to do it myself! :)

  7. I am a nail fanatic!

I do my nails RELIGIOUSLY every week at home. No really.

When my checkbook allows, I go to the salon and get gel nails - which, in my opinion, is the best invention since Neutrogena's make-up remover towelettes and extra long curling irons (just sayin'). ... The thought of having access to gel nails from my home??? Oh. My. Goodness. *dizzily falls over* Don't tease me, people. Don't tease me.

    1. Hi Everyone!
I'm also a "fanatic" about doing my nails! Since I do my own nails, and have the room for any small appliances that would take it to a higher level, I'm now going to learn about the "gel" system! Does it stay on longer than the regular polish? Can anyone tell me about it? Thanks!!

    2. Hi Agi,

The gel nail system uses special prep steps, polishes, and a UV light to allow the polish to dry in 60 seconds. Unlike regular nail polish, it is completely dry and hard in that short time frame, so you won't have to worry about nicks, dents, smudges, etc...

      It typically lasts 2+ weeks!

      Hope this helps!
      Marissa

  11. I would love to have the Lomasi Nail system not only to save money and to protect my health. The last shop I went into was very unsanitary and shared my feelings with management. I decided I would not being paying someone to pass a terrible disease such as hep b. After watching the video I thought the system was AWESOME would love to own for my own at home use. Thank You

    1. Bridget! Thank you for bravely voicing your observations to the shop owner! Good for the patrons following your input if the owners indeed made some needed changes! If you can "see" it's unsanitary, it's got to be bad. It's a huge industry and shame on them! That was the initial reason for doing my own at home. Now it's fun. I was just wondering if their prices were better than average? Just wondering...

  12. I do my own mani/pedi at home. I love my fave Essie "marino cool" color and think I do a better job myself because I gently do my cuticles and know it's safer done by me. I'd love to try the gel polish as it sounds as if it stays on longer?

  14. Not only does this seem like a money saver, but most importantly, a time saver. Career women on the run do not have time to sit at a salon very long with busy weeks. NO Chip= sounds awesome!

  15. What a fabulous giveaway! I love gel manicures, but hate to pay for them! This would be wonderful to have a home!

  16. I have never tried gel manis. Too expensive for my budget. Thanks for the chance!

  17. I recently had a shellac manicure and loved the fact that it lasted so long. Having the opportunity to do it at home saves me both time and money. For a girl who chips her manicures within the first few hours after receiving one, this product is a god-send :)

  18. I love to do my own mani/pedi at home because I get to save money and I don't have to worry about making it to my appointment on time. Plus I an do my nails at midnight if I felt like it!

  19. With 5 kiddos, who has time to go to the salon? This would be fun to do at home at anytime & I don't have to get a sitter!

Hi Im Shametria Johnson and Im a Personal Trainer and I love to get my nails done. But being at the gym really takes a toll on my nails. Getting this system would save me lots of money and repairs. I would love to be chip, dent and smug free.

  22. I love keeping my nails shaped and polished but no matter how long I let the polish dry or what type of top coat and nail dry I try I still end up with blanket marks on my nails. Going to the salon and getting a shellac manicure is not in the budget. I hear home gel manicures would be the answer to this girls problem. Would love to try it ! Thanks.

  23. I recently bought a wax machine and would love to be able to do my nails at home as well. It would save me a lot of time and money as well as give me the chance to be in the comfort of my own home.

  24. I would love to do my own nails at home! I have always wanted to get my nails done on a regular basis, but it is super expensive! It isn't a necessity, but I would like to pamper myself every now and then =)

  25. I love how manicures look...for about 5 minutes. I always mess them up with finger prints, dents, nicks, smudges, you name it. I'd love to be able to keep a manicure for a few weeks AND save money!

  26. This set looks incredible! I just paid $60 dollars this past weekend for a mani pedi and this can save me so much more money (and last a thousand times longer than my own regular polish at home!)

  27. I just learned more from your video about how to properly do a gel manicure than I have from trying various nail salons during the past 1 1/2 years! To save time, the process is rushed a bit in salons. They don't pay enough attention to how long your nails are under the light, and they don't do the thumbs separately. That explains why the gel on my thumbs chips or comes off between appointments. I can't wait to start doing it myself at home!

  28. I would love to be able to do my own gel manicures to have beautiful long lasting nails! Plus I would love to have my girlfriends over for mani pedi parties!!

  29. I have been spending tons of money on gel mani/pedis. My nails grow so fast that they only last about a week longer than regular manicures. Being able to do them myself, at home, would be so much more convenient than driving almost an hour away from home to get a quality job.

  31. ever since i went to my favorite salon about a year and a half ago, i was told about this new gel product that doesn't damage your nails but still helps to maintain the protective shell you get like when you use acrylic. i tried the gel and was instantly in love with how well it kept my manicures intact for 2 weeks+! i would love to have this system at home so i could change up the designs as often as i'd like, but still have a budget when it comes to doing my nails (:
